These cookies get their adorable name from the noise rice crackers will make when shaken: “karakara.” The cookies are made with brown sugar from the Okinawa Prefecture, giving them a rich flavor. Inside each of them are folk craft toys, a fun surprise when cracking each fortune cookie open. The toys and paper are not for consumption.
WARNING: Karakara Japanese Toy Fortune Cookies contains small toys that should not be consumed. Toy not suitable for children under three years. Small parts might be swallowed or inhaled.
